John and Maggie to Be Honored with Williams College Bicentennial Medals
Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts is the alma mater of both John Sayles and Maggie Renzi.
In 1993, on the college’s 200th anniversary, Williams established its Bicentennial Medals to honor accomplished alumni for distinguished achievement in any field of endeavor.
This year, both John (class of ’72) and Maggie (class of ’73) will be honored at the September 7th Fall Convocation for their work as “creative partners and pioneers in independent film.”
President Falk and College Council Co-Presidents Adrian Castro ’14 and Max Heninger ’14 will welcome the Class of 2014 at Convocation, which formally launches the academic year. The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 11 a.m. in Chapin Hall after a formal procession. (click here for the full press release)
Congratulations John and Maggie. What a great honor. So now it’s back to where it all began – the scene of the crime. Have fun.
