SUNSHINE STATE at Rendezvous Film Festival This Week
John Sayles and Maggie Renzi are returning to Amelia Island for the Rendezvous Film Festival! Join us for a special screening of SUNSHINE STATE on Friday, November 17, 2017. Q&A to follow.
Rendezvous Film Festival is celebrating 10 years of success by screening 54 films from 14 countries, as well as offering film workshops, music videos, and a virtual reality experience.
Friday’s screening will include an introduction from John Sayles and Maggie Renzi, and will be followed by a Q&A. Meet us at Studio 209 at 7:15 pm to enjoy the festivities!
Cast, crew, and extras of the film are encouraged to attend the screening. There will be various opportunities for photos, and reuniting the cast and crew back on Amelia Island.
The Festival will take place November 16-18. Film passes and individual tickets can be purchased here.
That was a great movie. I hope you decide to do films on two events that make me proud to be a Schenectadian: The UE strike at Ge in 1945 that addressed the issue of equal pay for equl work and the I sit dow in 1906 which was the first factory sit down in US history. It’s leade was James Connellly, who was living in the country for a while, before returning to Northern Ireland to lead the Easter rebellion there.
